Risers

No. 4 Calvary Christian

Calvary has been one of the best all around teams in the state this year. They had a big week 9 going 3-0 against tough competition. It started with a 3-1 win over Venice on Tuesday. They followed it up with a home and home sweep against previously undefeated Berkeley Prep on Friday and Saturday.

No. 20 Fletcher

Fletcher continues to have a tremendous 2022 season now sitting 19-2 on the year after winning the Gateway Conference this past week. They are currently on a 10 game win streak after going 3-0 in week 9. They are beating some of the best the Jacksonville has to offer and with the Witherspoon brothers on the mound, they will be a tough team to face come playoffs.

Fallers

No. 5 Berkeley Prep

Berkeley’s undefeated season came to an end this past week as they fell twice to Calvary Christian. Now sitting 21-2, the Bucs faced the adversity they needed to help propel them as they head into the playoffs. Berkeley drops one spot to No. 5 this week, but their 2022 season has been spectacular.

No. 16 Jesuit

An unknown commodity the last couple years has been Jesuit with more than 5 losses, but this year that has happened. Now sitting 15-8 on the season after losses to Wesley Chapel and IMG this week. This Jesuit team has not been the same as we’ve seen in years past but still could be a top team to beat come playoffs.

Newcomers

No. 22 Chiles

Chiles is back in the Power25 for the first time since the Preseason. After a not so pretty start, Chiles has won 12 of their last 14 games. Led by Draft prospect Chris Stanfield and a talented group of seniors, Chiles has gotten hot at the right time and could be a problem come playoff time.
