Scouting Report: Uncommitted Junior. 6-foot-2, 185 pound right hander with a tall athletic strong durable pitchers body. Loose quick arm with a high ¾ slot. Lands across body. Ball jumps out of his hand with deception. Fast ball has good tilt when he stays over the rubber and gets extension out front at 84-85 mph. Will definitely throw harder. Curve ball has ¾ rotation with more depth when he gets out front at 72-73 mph. Changeup was 74-76 mph with good arm speed. Didn’t use it much. Will develop with reps. Very competitive kid. Showed great poise in a tight situation with the game on the line. A lot of upside. Hasn’t pitched much. Great student.

Outlook: Coming off a season where he helped Bishop Moore to a 21-9-1 record and a 4A regional final appearance, Giordano will be competing with the Orlando Scorpions 2016 Purple team. In his final high school appearance of the year he came out of the pen to work six hitless innings with eight strikeouts to earn the victory in the regional semifinals. Giordano will continue to develop as he is newer to pitching. He will put his skills on display at the Inaugural PBR Florida Top Prospect Games at Stetson University on June 23^rd.
