By Doug Freeman and Mike Maerz

Power Baseball's three day tryout consisted of indoor bullpens, cage work, infield/outfield, sim games and regular game play. Below is the evaluations from all of the players in attendance that added the PBR Upgrade.

Logan Alaniz, 2B/3B, Lake Minneola HS, FL (2018)
The 5-foot-9, 150 pound left handed hitting infielder showed an exit velocity of 75 mph. He has quick hands through the zone and stays short to the ball. This creates a level line drive approach. Defensively he showed solid actions and topped out at 78 mph across the infield.

Rese Brown, RHP/1B, Lake Brantley HS, FL (2019)
The strong 6-foot-1, 205 pound RHP was very impressive with a lot of upside. He shows a clean arm action from a high ¾ slot. The fastball ranged from 85-86 mph with heavy, late life. He also showed a feel for the straight changeup at 72-73 mph and a tight slider at 77-78 mph. There is a lot of upside and the arm action works and should make a big jump as he continues to throw and become stronger.

Corey Cannon, 3B/1B, West Orange HS, FL (2018)
The 6-foot-1, 165 pound right handed hitting 3B/1B showed an exit velocity of 87 mph. He has a long, lanky frame that creates leverage. There is some occasional length, but has some power potential as he continues to become consistently short to the ball. He also tends to come out of his legs and will benefit as he continues to get use out of his lower half. Defensively, he broke down early to the ball with a wide base and his hands worked well out in front of his body while topping out at 70 mph across the diamond.

Joe Cobb, LHP, West Orange HS, FL (2019)
The 6-foot, 150 pound LHP has a lot of room to continue to grow and fill out. He showed a clean ¾ arm action with a fastball that ranged from 76-77 mph. He tends to have a slightly weak front side and could utilize his lower half more. Doing those things, he will have a jump in velocity. He also showed a 62-64 mph curveball and a 70 mph knuckleball. There is a lot of potential and will be a young arm to follow.

Matt Cobb, RHP, Olympia HS, FL (2018)
The 6-foot-1, 155-pound RHP shows a short arm action that results in a fastball that ranges from 82-83 mph. The arm gets trapped behind him at time and with better extension would result in a velocity jump . He also showed a feel for a quality fading changeup that ranged from 78-79 mph. He tended to get around the curveball at 67-68 mph, but has some shape to it.

Joseph Coffey, OF/RHP, West Orange HS, FL (2020)

Pablo Delgado, SS/2B, Windermere Prep, FL (2020)
The 5-foot-9, 145 pound right handed hitting middle infielder hits with a high back elbow and shows quick hands through the zone. He tends to lose his lower half and will greatly benefit from greater use of his legs to stay balanced through the swing. On the mound has a simple delivery with a leg kick and gets some extension out in front. Some inconsistent landing. Featured a fastball that sat 73-75 mph.

The 6-foot-3, 175 pound right handed hitting 1B/3B hits from an upright stance with minimal lower half use. He has quick hands through the zone, swing can be steep at times, but there is some leverage in his long limbs. This resulted in an exit velocity of 85 mph and has some above average power potential with better lower half usage. Defensively, he makes the plays in the field playing on and off the bag at first base.

Daniel Flacco, RHP/OF, Father Lopez HS, FL (2019)

There is some steepness in the path, but still generated a bat speed and an exit velocity of 85 mph. He could benefit with more rhythm in the lower half and working to create a more level to uphill path through the zone. The current bat speed and strength projects power. Defensively, he showed solid actions.

Trent Guillen, OF/RHP, West Orange HS, FL (2019)
The projectable, 6-foot-1, 170 pound OF/RHP shows some projectability on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the right handed hitter has a small leg kick.
