Georgia Premier Academy

Head Coach: Gene Reynolds

2022 Draft Prospects

Name, Position, Class (College Commitment)

Javier Santos Tejada, RHP, 2022 (Northwest FL State)

Northwest Florida State commit is a power right-hander. Has the ability to run his fastball up to 97 mph but can struggle with command at times. If he can put it all together and get his command where it needs to be, the ceiling is extremely high.

Jarvis Evans, LHP, 2022 (Georgia)

6-foot-5, 215 pound southpaw has a lot to like in a pitching prospect. The size is imposing. Clean delivery with a compact arm action. Shows ability to spin the breaking ball and generate swings and misses.

Jay Knowles, INF, 2022 (Kennesaw State)

Knowles is an extremely athletic prospect with a lot of tools to like. Moves extremely well defensively with a plus arm to add. Offensively, knows how to find barrels and make an all around impact on a game.

Other Notable Prospects

Eric Guevara, INF, 2023 (Auburn)

Schedule

Tuesday, February 15 - 4:30 PM vs Westminster Christian
Wednesday, February 16 - 4:30 PM vs Miami Springs

2022 Draft Prospects

Dakota Stone, LHP, 2022 (Jacksonville)

Stone is a strong bodied left hander with the ability to miss barrels on the mound. Sits low 90’s with the fastball and has been up to 95 mph. The recent Super 60 participant showed the ability to spin two separate breaking balls with spin rates in the 2600s.

Other Notable Prospects

Holden Bradshaw, SS, 2023
Cooper Whited, LHP, 2023

2022 Draft Prospects

Name, Position, Class (College Commitment)

Jordan Taylor, OF, 2022 (Florida State)

Taylor is an extremely athletic outfielder with a lot of pop in his bat. Has a plus arm from the outfield and moves well in center field. Offensively, has above average bat speed and can get to any pitch in the zone. Power potential is there as he continues to fill out.

Bradley Hodges, LHP, 2022 (Virginia)

Hodges is a 6-foot-1, 190 pound southpaw who really knows how to pitch. Fastball sits 90-91 and shows an above average breaking ball that is a true strikeout pitch. Hodges can generate soft contact with his ability to mix spots and change speeds.

Shawn Andrade, INF, 2023 (USF)
