The 2024 high school baseball season is officially underway. Each week we will update our Power25 HS Rankings with Risers, Fallers, and Newcomers to the rankings. We look forward to covering high school games this spring and hearing your feedback on who you think should be ranked where. Take a look at our Week 6 update.

Risers

#9 Venice

Venice continues its winning streak, up to twelve straight now. 12-1 on the season coming off a big win over #10 Bishop Verot. They also added an impressive win over Timber Creek.

#11 Monsignor Pace

Pace continues their undefeated run with three more wins this past week. They move to 12-0 and square up with #4 Stoneman Douglas tonight which should be interesting.

Fallers

#4 Stoneman Douglas

Douglas has now lost in back-to-back weeks after losing their 59-game winning streak. A 7-4 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas this past week. Douglas looks to get back on track but has a tough test tonight vs #11 Monsignor Pace.

#12 North Broward Prep

North Broward Prep lost its lone game in Week 5 falling 6-4 to Pine Crest. Now 10-2 on the season, the Eagles will look to get back in the win column this week.

Newcomers

#21 West Broward

West Broward makes their Power25 debut this week. The Bobcats are 10-2-1 with some impressive wins on the season over Park Vista, American Heritage, and St. Thomas Aquinas.

#22 St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas pulled off their biggest win of the season last week, defeating #4 Stoneman Douglas 7-3. They finished the week with a win over John Carroll Catholic. Throughout the season, they have also beaten Archbishop McCarthy and Taravella.

#23 Chiles

Chiles makes their first appearance on the Power25 after a 7-2 start to the season. They have rattled off four wins in a row over Maclay, St. Augustine, and Buchholz, and also defeated nationally ranked Lewisburg (MS).

#24 Taravella

Tavarella is back in the Power25 after a few weeks out. They have won their last seven games and have gotten hot at the right time. They look to continue their run with a tough trip to Orlando this week.
