Christian Bault, 1B, Moeller HS, Class of 2017

PBR: Why did you choose Lincoln Trail?

Bault: I chose Lincoln Trail because of the coaching staff, location and their resume for sending players to 4 year schools.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Bault: My only other offer was Ohio Dominican, but I was getting interest from several MAC, OVC schools later this fall.

PBR: Lincoln Trail is known for sending many of their players to 4 year colleges.  How much of a role did that play in your decision to go to Lincoln Trail?

Bault: It played a huge role! Coach Bowers and the rest of the staff do a great job finding kids a good fit.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?

Bault: They first saw me by video. Jeff Gatch sent them a video and that's when Coach Bowers invited me on a visit.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Bault: I play for the Cincinnati Flames and the most memorable moment was defiantly the WWBA tournament in Atlanta.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?

Bault: I saw my brother go through it so I kind of knew what to expect. It got hot for me this fall.

PBR: What were your stats this spring?

Bault: 328 BA 432 OBP 8 2B 1 HR 15 RBI's

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced?

Bault: Without a doubt Nick Bennett. He will be in a big league rotation sometime in the near future.
