OK Most Viewed Profiles in 2021: No. 4 Kash Mayfield

As we close the door on 2021 and head into 2022, PBR OK takes a look at the top 10 most viewed profiles of the year. We are able to drill down into the data and track the number of reads thanks to Google Analytics. As we usually see, the list is dominated by some of the top performers and players who have made commitments this year. 

Kash Mayfield checks into the list as the 4th most viewed profile in the State in 2021.  The 2024 lefthander possesses a future power arm arsenal and has shown the ability to attack hitters with a mid to upper 80's fastball.  Look for the Oklahoma State commit to continue to make jumps in the future as he adds strength to his frame and the velo continuing to make jumps.

Kash Mayfield: LHP/OF, (2024) Elk City, OK. 6-foot, 145-pound slim frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 80 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed is average, shows short swing plane and high finish. Found some barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Above average recorded an outfield position velocity of 80 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent footwork. Showed an-over-the-top slot with a long arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.41. Fluid on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action with good arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed tall balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 73-76 mph; showed command and running action. His curveball (56-62) shows plus action. He has some action on his changeup (65-66).
