Player of the Week (3.20.23 - 3.26.23) - '24 Caleb Sherfey (Tri-Cities Prep)

Uncommitted '24 RHP Caleb Sherfey (Tri-Cities Prep) is our 2nd Player of the Week this season after an incredible week on the mound paired with consistent hitting performances. 

Sherfey started off his week with a 5 inning perfect game on Tuesday that ended early due to the run rule. In 5 IP he didn't allow a baserunner and struck out 12 batters while throwing 43 or 57 pitches for strikes. 

Then he got the ball again on Saturday and fired a complete game shutout, going all 7 innings and allowing 3 H with 0 R, 0 BB and 9 K. 

For the week, pitched a combined 12 innings with 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB and 21 K

Offensively in 4 games Sherfey batted .500. Going 6-12 with 6 R, 5 RBI and 3 HBP/BB
