Scouting Report

1/27/18- Present strength with room to add to his frame currently standing at 5-foot-10, 165 lbs. Offensively, he shows ability to drive ball with authority when he squares it up. Makes hard contact and registered an 86 mph exit velocity in the cage. Behind the plate he displayed a good hands and a strong arm which topped out at 77 mph on his throws to the bag. Clocked in at 7.63 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.

01/13/18- Currently stands at 5-foot-10, 165 pounds with a physical lower half. At the plate starts from a very open stance with a simple approach and big leg kick for his load. Made consistent contact and showed a feel for the barrel with multiple lines drives to the pull side and left-centerfield gap during batting practice. As he continues to mature and add to his frame, he should see a jump in power to the pull side. Registered an 84 mph exit velocity in the cage. Behind the plate he registered pop times in the 2.02-2.08 second range and his throws topping out at 77 mph down to second. He sits somewhat upright, but the hands work well and projects as an above average defensive catcher.
