Tyler Woolbright, RHP/1B, Rockford Lutheran HS, Class of 2012
Woolbright is a solidly built 6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way talent who performed well in all aspects during the Fall Prospect Program last fall. On the mound, Woolbright operates from a high-3/4 arm slot and showed the ability to throw three pitches for strikes. He showcased his changeup that, when kept down in the zone, showed some arm-side sink. His fastball sat at 78-81 and consistently filled the bottom of the strike zone.

Offensively, Woolbright has a balanced setup at the plate with a smooth load and short stride. He demonstrated some barrel whip through the zone, which resulted in well-struck balls to the power alleys. Defensively, Woolbright has good feel around first base, demonstrating soft hands and clean footwork.
