2022 PBR Indiana Player of the Year: Max Clark

Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce its Indiana Player of the Year Award after the 2022 season generated some incredible individual moments and performances throughout the state. As the spring high school season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Report is excited to announce one player who emerged ahead of the competition at all levels. This player has been selected not only for their outstanding statistical numbers, but also for their overall effect on their high school program.

Max Clark

The Vanderbilt commit and No. 1 position player in the country, batted .577/.717/1.126 with eight doubles, two triples and nine home runs while driving in 32 and scoring 41 runs. He also drew 31 walks, struck out just three times and stole 22 bases.

Clark's all-around performance, as well as the impact he has had on Franklin High School, has earned him the 2022 Prep Baseball Report Indiana Player of the Year honors.

Clark has been selected by the staff of Prep Baseball Report of Indiana. The team of PBR area scouts who covered the high school baseball season throughout the spring selected Clark amongst a strong group of candidates from across the state. The Prep Baseball Report staff has been diligently scouting and covering games at diamonds across the state this spring to bring parents, athletes and fans the most comprehensive coverage of amateur baseball across the United States. The dedication and coverage allow Prep Baseball Report a credible way to identify the top athletes each year who best represent the state of Indiana.
