Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Kansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach’s Insight:

“We return a couple seniors that should lead us with hard work and a no quit attitude. We return all but one of our starting pitchers, which should help keep us in most games. Our hitting will improve as the season proceeds. Our only 2 concerns are the need for a couple freshmen to contribute to the team. You never know how they will respond to the pressure of playing for their high school.
Our schedule is tough this year with opponents such as: Olathe West, Olathe East, St James, Spring Hill, Paola, Bishop Ward.” – Bart Briley, head coach
