Coach’s Insight:

“We have good experience returning. 5 of our 6 main pitchers return from last year. The sophomores will need to fill the gaps left by our 3 seniors who graduated, including Peyton Rush who is currently playing at Hesston College. This bunch does know how to win, but it may take some time early in the year to gel as a new team. Early on in the year, our pitching depth and experience will have to carry us. We will have to replace 2/4's of the heart of our lineup lost due to graduation. It may be trial and error in lineup construction early to see where the pieces fit. We also need to find a catcher. I think we have one, but his experience behind the dish has been mainly JV. We also need to find a good fit at SS. ” – Kyle Green, head coach
