OUTLOOK:  

In Coach Carpenter's second at the helm, the Irish are looking to rebound from a 14-14 season. A crop of young sophomores (Keel, Carpenter, and Suich) will be expected to fill key roles in the lineup. Senior infielder Matt Messick will play anchor the middle of the infield while junior Nick Conner figures play centerfield and hit in the middle of the order. The biggest question for the Irish will be on the mound. In order to succeed in the OCC, the Irish will need pitching to develop and good defense to win ball games.
