Best Workout Day Hitter
Austin Rose C / 1B / Newark, OH / 2025Rankings StateRank: 45 / POS: 5
Report: 6-foot-3, put together and still has substantial projection to frame. Smooth swinger with quality present tools (100.6 TEV / 80+mph batspeed) and much more to come. Doesn't take a seasoned scout to see the run producer profile here. Absolutely torched balls in BP. |
Best In Game Defender
Ian Cain 3B / RHP / Avon, OH / 2025Rankings StateRank: 46 / POS: 3
Report: Cain continues his ascension up recruiting boards. Carried a big summer into a standout showing in the showcase portion. Ran a 6.6 laser timed 60-yard dash and sprayed it around the yard well in BP. Considering his feel, efficiency and tools he's a guy you could put pretty much anywhere in lineup. |
Best Workout Day Defender
Carter Christenson SS / 2B / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2025Report: A guy with athleticism, ball skills, and arm to play just about anywhere. A natural infielder but with 6.5 speed and 92mph arm it works just fine in the OF as well. Middle type skill set with the glove up the middle. A guy who can impact the game in several ways. |
Best Baserunner
Carter Christenson SS / 2B / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2025Report: Explosive athlete, who recently reopened his recruitment, started off the day by running a 6.5 flat - laser timed. In the box it was fast-twich with quality physicality. Also showed premier batspeed at 80+mph with barrels coming off in the mid 90s.

Junior Future Games - Five Names To Know
Noah Goettke OF / RHP / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027Report: Every time we see him he stands out. Not sure you'll find many '27s from any state down here that can match. Offensively it's athletic and explosive with upper 90s barrels when squared. Also expect him to standout with the run/arm tool. Hit a home run in game. Uber-talented. |
Donovan Glosser C / OF / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027Report: Smooth, professional type BP with low effort juice to all fields. Quality batspeed, upper 80s type jump. Advanced skill set behind the dish / can block/receive - and catch/throw at a high level. One of the top players in Ohio's 2027 class. |
Nathan McDowell RHP / 1B / Miami East, OH / 2027Report: Dominant showing in a big spot for Team Ohio. 6-foot-2, low to mid 80s velo now with significantly more in the tank. FB got consistent late passes from vert talented hitters. High ceiling. |
Devlan Daniel OF / RHP / Indian Hill, OH / 2027Report: One of the top prospects in his class. True-switch with explosive tools from both side of the plate. Absolutely landed on balls throughout his round. Upper 70s batspeed with 90+juice from both sides. Also hopped on the mound and will show low to mid 80s velo. One of the better 2027s you'll see down in here. |
Keegan Sawyer C / SS / Badin, OH / 2028Report: Elite tools / high-level defensive backstops in his class stepped into the box and took a quality round. From leg lift to swing trigger everything is fluid and efficient. Took what the pitch gave him, spraying it all over the yard. Top EV at 86mph. Was a dude behind the dish all weekend and found several barrels. |
Jackson Vondersaar RHP / C / Olentangy Berlin, OH / 2028Report: Wow type tools for the '28 class. Explosive batspeed (75mph) and upper 80s type EV. Ball looks different off the barrel / he had a multi home run game with one being an absolute no doubter. Also has obvious athleticism / armspeed on the mound. |
Carter Shouse OF / LHP / N/A, OH / 2028Report: If there's a more explosive athlete in the 2028 class we haven't seen it. Loose, athletic swing with real batspeed an natural whip. Low 70s batspeed with 98mph top end EV. Hard to believe you're watching a '28. Also will hope on the mound in be low 80s from the left side and delivery is clean/explosive. |
Brennan Mustard RHP / 1B / Waverly, OH / 2028Report: Physical two-way talent. On the mound he has upper 70s type juice on the heater with advanced feel for spin. In the box he has a middle of the lineup look to him with obvious physicality and early batspeed due to well use of his bat tip up top. Loud barrels that came off in the low to mid 90s when squared. |
Sutton Mullins 1B / RHP / Olentangy, OH / 2028Report: Sutton is going to be a guy that gets off the bus first when he gets to high school. 6-2, 180-pounds and looks the part. The bat shows a lot of pop including multiple balls off the fence this week. While mentioning the big frame above, he showed some great flexibility at first base with a feel for the position. |
Enmanuel Ramos SS / 2B / North Ridgeville, OH / 2027Report: Manny is showing glimpses of all 5 tools early in his development but the two that stick out the most are his glove/footwork and arm. Ramos is a very intriguing MIF prospect with an arm this is already in the 80’s from the left side of the field. The hit tool is there too. Lots of barrel contact with more power to come. |
