With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Adena Warriors
Team Name: Adena Warriors
Head Coach: Tom Barr
Division: III
2017 Record: 14-14
Conference Record: Scioto Valley Conference, 10-4, 2nd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2
Team Strengths:
- Defense
- Speed
Coach Outlook: “Adena lost 10 seniors in 2017 but return 3 starters. We will be young with talent that has not been tested at the varsity level. Our Junior Varsity program has been very successful over the previous two seasons (36-1) so many of these players should be ready to help our varsity program in 2018. Also, the majority of our players are now playing competitive summer baseball which will help our club this spring.”
PBR Outlook: Losing 10 seniors is always tough to replace, but with three starters returning and some talent at the younger levels, look for the Warriors to be competitive all year with their best ball being played come tournament time.
