With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Archbishop McNicholas Rockets
Team Name: Archbishop McNicholas Rockets

2017 Record: 9-15
Conference Record: GCL Co-ed, Central Division, 3rd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/1
Team Strengths:
- Defense
- Baseball IQ
- Players accepting their roles
Coach Outlook: “I really like our returning defense. We have several very good defenders. Our hitting will be good and our team baseball IQ is very high. We will have several new starting pitchers and will have very little experience on the mound.”
PBR Outlook: Look for the Rockets and coach Christmann to bounce back in 2018 with a nice group of upper and lower classmen. If the Rockets can find some arms, they should be competitive all year.
