With 2020 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best 2021 high school coverage that can be found anywhere. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2021 Team Strengths:

From top to bottom we have some of the best athletes we have ever had in my 20 years at Wapakoneta. We hope to utilize their athleticism and make really nice baseball players out of them.

Coach Outlook: "We have 5 returning players from our 2019 team that finished in the middle of the pack of the WBL. These 5 with a mixture of sophomores and juniors look to get us going once again int he ever so tough Western Buckeye League."

Garrett Siefring - OF - 250 BA, 10 R, 6 RBI, 2 yr letter winner
Trevor Crow - P/1B - 143 avg, 7 runs scored, 16 IP, 0.88 ERA, 1-0, 6 appearances 2 yr letter winner
Brandon Schneider - P/DH - 1-0 3.71 ERA, 5 appearances, 2 year letterman
Braeden Goulet - JR P/OF - 2 year letterman 198 BA, 6 runs scored 2-4 , 2.74 ERA, 30 IP

Class of 2022 Prospects To Keep Eye On:

Braeden Goulet Zach Rogers - P/C/SS - will look to make an impact near the top of our lineup as well as defensively up the middle
Kaden Siefring - INF - will be looked at defensively up the middle for us.

Class of 2023 Prospects To Keep Eye On:

Landon Brandt (Video Below) - P/OF - RHP/Left Handed Batter - will look to eat up innings in the rotation as well as play in the OF
Grant Bauer - RHP/INF - Will also look to eat up innings on the hill as well as handle and infield position.
Austin West - Left Handed Hitter - will look to be an offensive contributor and possibly a corner infielder this year
Ryan Camper - Utility - Can put in a variety of positions on the field and contribute nicely
