Indiana's roster is loaded for PBR Midwest Future Games



A look at the Indiana roster:

Trent Astle, LHP, Jeffersonville HS
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Astle is one of the better left-handed prospects in Indiana, as he features a mid-80s fastball.

Daniel Ayres, LHP, Columbus North HS
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Ayres is a projectable left-hander who impressed at a Prep Baseball Report event with his 84-85 mph fastball.

Zach Brown, SS/RHP, Seymour HS
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Brown is an athletic two-way talent who?s been up to 83 mph on the mound and has quick defensive actions.

Matt Eppers, OF/RHP, Elkhart Central HS
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Eppers is an athletically built outfielder with some arm strength. Eppers also ran a 7.16 60 at a PBR event.

Alex Krupa, OF/INF, Greenwood HS
The left-handed hitting Krupa established himself as a premier athlete in Indiana after he ran a 6.5 60 at a PBR event.

Michael Poulous, RHP/1B, Munster HS
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Poulous is a lean, projectable right-hander who features a mid-80s fastball.

Tanner Tully, LHP/OF, Elkhart Central HS
The 6-foot, 190-pound Tully is one of the top left-handers in Indiana?s Class of 2013.

Jeremy Wright, SS/3B, Andrean HS
As a sophomore starter, the 5-foot-11 Wright batted .368 with 6 doubles, 2 home runs, a .494 on-base percentage and was given the team?s Golden Glove Award.

Joey Perkins, INF, Brebeuf HS
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Perkins is a strong-bodied prospect who can play several positions well.

* Anthony Ray, OF, St. Rita HS (Illinois)
The 5-foot-11, 157-pound Ray is an athletic left-handed hitter who is one of the top outfield prospects in Illinois. Ray impressed at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase with his speed (6.7 60), arm strength (87 mph) and extremely quick hands at the plate. Ray will be participating on Team Indiana.

* Spencer Gaa, INF, Metamora HS (Illinois)
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound Gaa is one of the premier athletes in Illinois? Class of 2013. Gaa ran a 6.63 60 at a PBR event in the summer, in addition to showing quick defensive actions at shortstop. Gaa, who is one of the top-ranked middle infielders in Illinois, will be participating on Team Indiana.

* Brad Margolin, C, Glenbrook North HS (Illinois)
Margolin is a hard-nosed, athletic catcher who opened eyes with his tremendous athleticism at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase. Margolin ran an impressive 6.75 60, and showed a solid arm behind the plate. Margolin will be participating on Team Indiana.
