The Prep Baseball Report Class of 2018 Showcase at the Max in McCook, IL will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016. The event is open to anyone in the Class of 2018 and will include several colleges in attendance.

Spots are limited, but there is still time to register for this Sunday’s event. CLICK HERE to sign up for the Class of 2018 Showcase.

Currently, there are 85 uncommitted 2018s signed up for this year’s event. The CURRENT ROSTER can be found here. A few notable’s to be sure to keep an eye on come Sunday are 3B Francois Castillo, RHP Ryan Vice, and LHP Nick Skurka.

Last years event included No. 1 ranked 2017 Austin Marozas (Plainfield South) who came out working 87-89 mph with his fastball to go along with a hard slider at 77-79 mph. Marozas is currently committed to Kentucky.

Check-In times for the Class of 2018 Showcase are as follows:

Position Players:
8:20-8:40 AM

Pitcher Only:
11:20-11:40 AM

Catchers will stay for both sessions as they will also be evaluated while catching bullpens.

The event should end around 12:00 pm for position players. The last pitcher should conclude around 3:00 pm
