The Risers
As with every season that goes by, many players take major leaps physically and developmentally. Below are some of the biggest risers since our latest rankings.

Jackson Holliday SS / 2B / Stillwater, OK / 2022

The Oklahoma state commit has had one of the most impressive springs of any player in the state, hitting over .530 with three HRs and only five Ks through four weeks of play. The left-handed hitter has always shown some of the best barrel control and approach in the country, but his add strength has taken his game to the next level at the dish and defensively with arm strength across the diamond. Look for Holliday to continue to rise in our national rankings.

Caden Powell SS / RHP / Clinton, OK / 2022

One of the most physically impressive players in the class, the Oklahoma commits stands 6-foot-3 and weighs a very lean 200lbs. Always an elite power hitter with big power to the pull side, Powell has began to polish his offensive approach, spraying extra base hits to all fields. We have also seen Powel make big jumps in speed and with his arm where he has been 90 from the mound. Defensively, Powell likely moves to one of the corner INF or OF spots due to his size and his athleticism will make him an advanced defender at those positions.

Brennan Phillips LHP / OF / Owasso, OK / 2022

The Oklahoma State commit produced what is likely to be the pitching performance of the year on opening day when he tossed a complete game striking out 20 in seven innings against top ten ranked Jenks. The left-hander features an upper 80s fastball with life and a curveball that he can land in any count.

The 6-foot-3 right-hander showed a big velo jump at the Preseason All-State Showcase ranging 84-88 with some downhill tilt and an advanced changeup in the low 80s. The Cowley College commit appears to have even more left in the tank.

Jarrett Flaggert SS / 3B / Choctaw , OK / 2022

After showing some big pop and bat speed at the Preseason All-State (95 mph exit velo), Flaggert has came out swining for Choctaw this spring. The right-handed hitter has played a key role in the offensive and posted some strong power numbers.

Brae Alonzo 2B / OF / Norman North, OK / 2022

A skilled multi positional athlete, Alonzo jumps in our rankings over 40 spots after bettering every measurable and showing a strong round of BP a the OK Preseason All-State Showcase.

Joseph Ijams SS / OF / Booker T Washington , OK / 2022

A very lean 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame, Ijams shows and clean with impressive bat speed and much more pop than could be expected out of his frame. Ijams is also a slick fielding shortstop with advanced hands and feet. Ijams will enters our rankings in the top 50 and could rise up them quickly with the addition of strength to his frame.

Brett Pense RHP / 1B / Deer Creek, OK / 2022

A long 6-foot-3, 180-pound long frame with room to add size and strength, Pense is a two-way prospect that was up to 82 on the mound and 85 in BP with a compact swing at the the OK Preseason All-State Showcase.
