Edmonds-Woodway Jamboree (3.7.24)

Edmonds Woodway

'27 RHP Grafton Marshall-Inman, Uncommitted
Seen by PBR staff at the jamboree Thursday and against Mount Vernon on Saturday, Marshall-Inman looks the part of one of the top underclassman arms in the state. In his one inning of work against Monroe, Marshall-Inman topped at 87, mostly sitting 85-86 with his FB. Operating with a clean delivery and loose arm action, also featured a consistent breaker and changeup. With some room to grow in his already athletic 6'2 frame, his ceiling will be immense and he is sure to be a name to follow in years to come.

'27 RHP Declan Crawford, Uncommitted
Showing tremendous poise for a freshman, the medium-framed righty featured a projectable arsenal. FB sat 78-82, mostly in the low 80's. Also featured a breaking ball that filled up the zone at 70-72. Struck out the side in his one inning of work. An arm to watch with room to grow into frame.

Archbishop Murphy

'25 SS/RHP Reese Logsdon, Uncommitted
A mainstay in the middle of Archbishop Murphy's lineup, Logsdon continues to improve with each look. Solid bat with a mostly line drive approach. Starts with a quiet setup, sitting into legs with barrel resting on rear shoulder. Shorter barrel path with strong hands at contact. Smooth mover in the field with the ability to make the routine plays. Showcases some arm strength as well.

Monroe

'24 SS/3B Ethan Hogan, Tacoma Community College Commit
Hogan finished with a quiet day but at 6'2 and 175 lbs was one of the better prospects athletically on the field. The TCC commit had a quick first step and clean defensive actions at SS with a smooth left-handed stroke at the plate. Hogan looks poised for a productive senior season.

Overall it was a quick look at an intriguing Monroe squad who we are high on heading into the 2024 HS season. Currently they land in the #25 spot of the Washington Power 25 rankings for our preseason release. Senior '24 Harlan Rowe (Lower Combia commit) should be a steady presence at the top of the rotation and rising sophomores '26 RHP AJ Welch and '26 OF/RHP Caleb Campbell are high upside prospects with a chance to make big jumps this season.

Olympia @ Timberline (3.9.24)

Olympia

'24 SS/2B Jack Skelley, Centralia College Commit
Skelley finished with a monster day at the plate, driving in four and scoring three runs himself while blasting two doubles and a triple in the victory over Timberline. Featuring a short, quick RH swing, Skelley showcased the ability to get to the high fastball all game long. With some power flashed in his medium frame, was able to elevate and find barrels consistently. Plays loose and free on both sides of the ball. Should be an important piece on an Olympia team with high hopes this season.

'25 SS/RHP Trace Pruitt, Washington Commit
Ranked fourth in PBR's class of 2025 rankings, Pruitt looks to be in line for a massive season. Physical player with two-way ability. At the plate, Pruitt stayed aggressive in the zone while being pitched around for most of the day. Starts in slightly open stance at the plate with a loose swing path, consistently finding hard contact. Moved well for size at shortstop, making the routine plays. Finished the game with a scoreless frame on the bump. Pruitt should continue to be one of the most exciting top talents in the 2025 Washington class.

'25 OF/LHP Lincoln Berg, Uncommitted
Berg got the nod to start on the hill in Olympia's opener. The crafty lefty featured a FB topping at 81 mostly sitting 78-80, a changeup sitting 74-76 and a slower breaker at 65-68. Battling the elements, Berg showcased his poise, working around trouble in his two innings pitched. With some traffic, he worked primarily from the stretch position, maintaining a steady tempo through delivery with a controlled finish. Featuring a mature, scrappy approach both at the plate and on the mound, Berg should get plenty of reps to improve this season.

Timberline

'27 3B/C Joaquin San Nicolas, Uncommitted
San Nicolas showcased potential in what was a largely slow day for the Timberline offense. At the plate, showed his ability to hit the fastball with mostly a line drive approach in his compact frame. Impressive maturity in movements on both sides of the ball for a freshman. Showcased some range at 3B. An intruiging player to watch, particularly as he continues to get stronger.

'24 SS/2B Gage Reeser, Yakima Valley College Commit
Reeser led off and strung together some quality at bats for Timberline on Saturday. An athletic build, the shortstop showcased some tools with soft hands and smooth movements in the field. At the dish, Reeser stays in his legs and sprays the ball around the diamond from the right hand side. Reeser should be a constant threat at the top of the lineup this season.
