With 2022 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2023. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2023 Spring Team Preview: North Royalton Bears

Team Name: North Royalton Bears
Head Coach: Matt Stricker
Division: I
2022 Record: 18-9
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 2/4

Coach Outlook: "I am excited for this season to begin. Our kids have been working extremely hard this offseason. They have put in the work in the classroom, weight room, cages, conditioning, etc. to get themselves ready for the season. I am extremely proud of the leadership that has come from our returning letter winners. They have all bought into working hard, and understanding that nothing is given and everything is earned. We graduated 13 seniors from last year's team, but we have plenty of players who are not only willing, but are ready to step in and produce. I will say that I love coaching at North Royalton, and I could not be more proud of the student-athletes that are part of this program. I look forward to seeing what the future brings. Our thoughts as always is to win a Suburban League Title and make a run in the State Tournament. We are goal oriented team that looks forward to the season ahead."
