This Tuesday, June 20th, the PBR Wisconsin team is hosting the Milwaukee Open at The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin, Wis. This is an open event for all high school classes (2024-27), and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

2023 ROSTER

This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.

Just a couple of weeks ago, OF Max Johnson (South Milwaukee, 2024) was one of our staff’s biggest takeaways from the PBRT The Rock Open. Listed at a sturdy 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, Johnson was on the barrel all weekend long for the eventual winners in Prospect Training Academy. In the right-handed box, Johnson features a quick swing that has shown the ability to backspin line drives to all parts of the field. Tuesday will serve as our first showcase look at this uncommitted soon to be senior in roughly a year, and we are excited to receive an in-depth look at the gains he has made since.

During the spring, OF Bennett Karolewicz (St. Thomas More, 2024) was a key piece for the Cavaliers in their eventual runner-up finish at the Division 2 State Finals, as he tallied a .352 batting average and a OBP of .483. Most recently, our staff got a quality look at Karolewicz up at Appleton during the State Tournament, where he tallied three hits in his six at-bats, including two RBIs. Karolewicz is definitely a name who has been on our radar throughout the spring, and we are certainly excited to get a comprehensive look at him during his PBR event debut.

C Parker Schwake (Wauwatosa West, 2024) authored one of the loudest rounds of BP we saw throughout the entire winter circuit, back at the West Milwaukee Preseason ID. Listed at an imposing 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame, Schwake has recorded 102 mph EVs in front of our staff before, from a controlled right-handed stroke. From behind the plate, he has recorded pop times as low as 2.14 before, too.

RHP Sawyer Conradt (P27 Academy, SC, 2025) joined his older brother, RHP Jonah Conradt (2023; Arkansas commit) at P27 Academy in South Carolina, and Tuesday will be our first look at him since leaving. About a year ago, our staff got our first look at Conradt at the Underclass Open and there he impressed with the ease and fluidity to his athletic delivery. At that event, he ran his fastball up to 81.2 mph, which was one of the highest of the event. He also showed off a true feel for a three-pitch mix which included a sharp 11/5 curveball and a changeup with late fade and depth. While this event has a number of names we are excited to get an updated look at, Conradt is someone in particular after a full year of development.

OF Braylen White (Brown Deer, 2025) is one of the state’s top athletes, regardless of class, and he will be in attendance on Tuesday. Built at an athletic 5-foot-11, 160-pounds White has recorded 60-yard dash times as low as 6.55 in front of our staff before. This speed is fully put on display in the outfield and he has all the making of being a well-above average defender at the next level. Offensively, White’s right-handed bat has continued to make gains in our previous looks. Working short and quick to the ball, White has the ability to spray the ball to all parts of the field.

Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.

EVENT CHECK-IN PROCESS

Because of the high number of prospects set to attend Tuesday's event, it is imperative that you read our adjusted showcase itinerary below, which will allow our staff to swiftly and efficiently educate and evaluate the players set to attend.

Additionally, in an effort to continue and develop contactless check-in strategies, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smart phone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and hit submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name.
