This Saturday, March 9th, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin team is hosting the Madison Rising Stars at the GRB Academy in Windsor, Wis. This event is tailored to prospects in the 2028 and 2029 classes and it is meant to educate players with what to expect about the overall landscape of playing at the next level while also allowing our staff to identify some up-and-coming talent.

EVENT HISTORY

We've been hosting this event for the past seven years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Junior Future Games.

There were a number of prospects who earned invites to the annual Prep Baseball Junior Future Games at this event last year. Amongst them was RHP/INF Danny Flor (Oconomowoc, 2027), who showed off some two-way talents and ultimately was a big contributor for Team Wisconsin while down at the Junior Future Games. OF/RHP Chace Staude (Kettle Moraine, 2027) is another prospect who earned an invite to LakePoint after a quality Rising Stars showing and he earned a No. 13 spot in the first-edition of our Class of 2027 Rankings shortly after. Rounding out the crop of Junior Future Game participants is RHP/1B Dylan Schreiber (Waukesha West, 2027) who boasts some of the highest upside in the state’s current freshmen class, while already featuring a low-80s fastball and he is currently the No. 12 prospect in our freshmen rankings.

We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming years.
