Most Viewed Profiles of 2022: No. 18 Bryce Clavon

As we begin to close the book on 2022 and shift our focus to a brand-new year, we continue our tradition of highlighting the Top-25 Most Viewed Profiles for the calendar year. Using Google Analytics, our staff was able to compile a list of the Top-25 prospects whose PBR profile was viewed the most in 2022. Many of the players mentioned on this list produced at a high level at various PBR events over the course of the last 12 months.

Starting on December 7th, we began counting down from No. 25 all the way to No. 1, which will be announced on December 31st. Coming in at No. 18 in our countdown of the most viewed profiles of 2022 is is one of the nation's top uncommitted prospects, SS/OF Bryce Clavon of Kell High School.

Oklahoma Commit. The 6 foot, 175 pound has the body and actions of a track athlete. Refreshingly simple swing w/ minimal separation & good lower half direction. Gap to gap approach fits his game perfectly. ++ runner w/ a cannon & very quick exchange at SS.

Positional Profile: SS/OF One of the top prospects in the 2024 class, advanced tool set.
Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Advanced athlete with quick twitch, strength throughout especially in his lower half.
Hit: RHH. Keeps it simple, balanced setup, hands start back and remain as he loads weight back, short stride, explosive lower half, great balance through finish. Swing path is short and quick to the zone, mostly level through, aggressive intent, quick hands (25.90 hand speed) coupled with whippy bat speed (79.70 bat speed), drives the ball gap-to-gap with ease.
Power: 97.00 mph exit velocity from the tee. Gap-to-gap power, power to all fields as he continues to develop.
Arm: RH. INF - 86.00 mph. OF - 89 mph. Short, clean arm action, explosive arm speed, throws carry across the infield and from the outfield.
Defense: Plays through the ball with athleticism, quick, fluid footwork, carries momentum toward target, fields out front with a soft glove, quick on transfers.
Run: 6.88 runner in the 60. Clean gait, extremely quick feet.

Clavon has been on the radar of our staff for almost a year now, ever since he made a big impression at the 2020 Underclass Invitational. He is one of the twitchiest athletes in the class at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. A top of the order, leadoff style hitter, Clavon can drive the ball to all fields and then use his elite speed to fly around the bags. He has a strong ability to square the ball up on a consistent basis.
