On July 11, the PBR Wisconsin team hosted the Top Prospect Games at The Rock Complex in Franklin, Wis., featuring many of the top uncommitted players in the state’s 2024 and 2025 grad classes. We began the analysis of the event by looking at the data and measurables from the day as well as a few of the initial standouts in our Quick Hits piece.

Today we continue the positional breakdown of the event, with all of the pitchers from the invite-only event.

It is also worth mentioning a pair of uncommitted pitchers who just missed the top-10, in RHP Andrew Halser (Marquette, 2024) and RHP Tanner Peterson (La Crosse Aquinas, 2024) as well. Halser is an upside 6-foot, 165-pound right-hander with clean and athletic actions on the mound. He is armed with a mid-80s fastball (T85.6 mph) and pairs it with both a short breaking ball in the low-70s and a fading changeup in the mid-70s. As for Peterson his upside is also apparent as he is listed at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds and he pounded the zone with a fastball that topped at 86.1 mph. He also showed confidence in a sharp, late biting curveball, too.

Another right-hander to mention was RHP Kaden Russo (Elk Mound, 2024; Concordia University-St. Paul) who just recently announced his commitment. Built at a strong 6-foot-3, 210-pounds, Russo impressed as he ran his high-spin fastball up to 85.1 mph that averaged over 2,200 RPM. He also threw a slider, curveball and changeup for strikes, all of which helped him attain four strikeouts in his two innings of work.
