Week 4 Diamond Notes

By: Josh Fields
Wisconsin Staff

Each week, WIAA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Wisconsin Player of the Week honors. On Wednesday, we awarded the third 'Players of the Week' awards of the year, representing Week 4, to RHP Luke Agnew (Marquette, 2023; Wichita State commit), who struck out 15 batters on the week, including a complete game gem against Wauwatosa West, and he earned 'Pitcher of the Week' honors, as a result. OF/LHP Mason Holz (Waupun, 2024) earned 'Player of the Week' honors after hitting .500 on the week with four doubles, seven RBIs, and eight runs scored.

Inside of this Diamond Notes piece, we acknowledge the performances that fell short of that POTW honor, but are still deserving of some recognition here.
